ABOUT ME

Hey friends! 

Sofija here! (pronounced like sofia, just spelled Swedish) 

I started designing jewelry from a very young age. I remember getting a little gold cross from my family when I was about 6 or 7 and taking it off the chain it came on to string it on a choker necklace I made from rainbow beads. Now that thing was pretty dang cool but nowadays I'm onto some bigger projects. 

From the moment I made my first ring using lost wax casting I knew that it was the thing I wanted to do. I had a similar feeling when I hammered out my own cuff. I have a strong fascination with all things metal. There is so much to learn in this world and the options for creation are limitless!

When I’m not making jewelry I love knitting, nerding out on fantasy/horror, reading, hiking, hanging out with my two cats, getting outdoors and dipping in the river. I am so so lucky to live in such a beautiful place here in the PNW. I treasure it every day! 

 

Every time I get an order, talk to y'all or write those thank you notes out, lets be real, I freak out a little.
